Good to know before you apply
Contract tenure The assignment is purely on contract basis till 31.10.2026. It does not confer any right to regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Kalyani/ICMR, or continued contractual appointment. The contract will automatically expire on completion of the project or earlier if funding support is withdrawn.
Ready to join immediately The candidate should be ready to join immediately upon selection.
No accommodation or TA/DA No hostel or other accommodation will be provided. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview at AIIMS Kalyani.
Full-time appointment; no private practice The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
No other allowances No other allowance/facility other than the consolidated emoluments/salary shall be admissible.
Employment terms Selected candidates will be employed under the ICMR Project in the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS Kalyani, and will be under the direct pay role of AIIMS Kalyani. Leave entitlement is governed by ICMR leave policy as amended from time to time.
Canvassing and disqualification Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without intimation. Shortlisting for interview is at the complete discretion of the Screening Committee.
Amendment rights and jurisdiction The competent authority reserves the right to amend, cancel, or change this advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason or notice. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of law at Kolkata.
